Finny adds some hard cider to enhance the festivities of the Winter Carnival. Finny tells Gene that he believes the accident was caused by some blind impulse and not by some hatred or bad feeling that Gene harbored against him. George Richardson portrays Mr. Prud'homm, a Devon master. Finny's fall following the "trial" leads tragic death.

Brother Daniel Duplantis is surprised to that he is being honor at dinner for his leadership in the St. La Salle Auxiliary. Brothers Clarence Fioke, Don Mouton, Raymond Bulliard and Jerry Vincent gather for this meal in honor of Brother Daniel Duplantis. Brother Charles Miller, Father Dutra, Christal Boone, Brother George Esquibel, Brother Brian Dybowski and Brother Bill Hughes partake in the gumbo dinner.

Captain "Starry" Vere stands on the top deck to insure order and discipline among the crew of H.M.S. Indomitable. Harlequino, a character in Bamboozled, based on Italian Renaissance comedy.
